My sister in law died tonight. We are so sad. She was a great woman of faith. She leaves behind four wonderful children and a husband beyond dreams, TT's youngest brother. We have cried bucketloads. She fought on every front - medical, nutritional and spiritual. We grieve.

I am very sorry for your loss. A Candle is lit in Chicago too.
Oh, wow...Ms. Hatti Grace I'm so sorry for your loss. It's tragic when someone so close leaves you.
But like you said, "Death makes everyone uncomfortable at first. It is like a stranger from an alien planet at first visit. The closer to home it knocks, the more we understand and accept it."
And so far, it sounds like you're doing a good job accepting your sister-in-law's passing. And just so you know...there's some prayer goin' on over here in Tucson for you and your family.
I didn't even realize that she was ill. I must have missed a post somewhere. I am so sorry for you and your hubby. Actually for all the family. I can feel your suffering through your words.
Please accept my condolences for you all. I send you many hugs and love.
She sounds wonderful. She sounds like she fought to stay. God had other plans. It's hard to sometimes understand how and why...May God grant you all His Peace.
Hattigrace, I'm so sorry to hear about this. Please take good care of yourself!

So sorry about the loss. After a loss there is always a compartment of the heart that is empty of presence, yet still containing memories. Hope you get lappie back - without a good computer, its kind of like losing the use of an arm!!!!! Also miss your posts. Hope your back gets better - too much at one time for you folks!
I am so sorry for your loss. I read TT's great tribute to her on his blog--what a dear woman and what a great loss.
Blessings to you all as you walk through this time of grieving.

I'm so sorry.
I lost a member of my family last week as well. So I'm perhaps more reminded than normal of what you're going through. The shock. The walking around inside yourself. The grief.
Your family....Tim's family...are in my prayers.
Remember...when a person of faith leaves us....we grieve for ourselves and those they left behind. Because they're full of peace. They're with Our Lord.
You and your family are in my prayers.
Thanks so much for dropping by my blog! I'm adding yours to my 'regular' reading list.
Sue :-)
Thinking of you on Mother's Day too!
