surprise

I was at work, just cutting hair, like usual. My fourth client into the day said, "What are you doing August 19?"

"I don't know, what am I doing August 19?"

"You and TT are coming to stay with me and my wife in Costa Rica."

And I had snapped at one of my clients a few days ago when she had asked if we had plans for a fun summer vacation, "Of course not, I am self-employed, no, I do not get paid vacations."

We have this offer, to vacation in a beautiful Costa Rica house (mansion), merely for the cost of our airfare. I said, "YES!" He said, "I am not used to people making decisions so quickly."

"So, do I have I D I O T stamped on my forehead????? Of course, we will be there!"

TT is working on his passport. Cool he knows now he can fly.

August 18 is our 22nd anniversery. What a celebration!

I knew I needed a new swimsuit. And I thought it was just because we are building a pool next spring.

Looks like I need to go shopping!

And I thought this was just another day. . .

well, well, well. congratulations all around. Costa Rica is beautiful. I know i was born next door and they both look the same. (Besides a chunk of what is now COsta Rica used to be NIcaragua's behore they so rudly stole it back in a war.) There will be lot's of sun and beaches. Turltles ( :) ), parrots and monkey..all 3 animals i love..so enjoy. Their govt is actually the only smart one in the whole Central Ameriaca. Their bread and butter is tourists and so they cater to them and take care of them. Most spanish people welcome you happily with open arms and are good...So my sweet, buy sun-tan lotion and a hot, new bathing suit (preferably a 2 pc with tha bod of yours) and smile because i think you are gonna love it.
Hugs.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh my favorite place. You will absolutely fall in love with CR, guaranteed. Feed the doggies for me, the rest you will find lush and wonderful - the food is incredibly fresh and tasty, the soft mists of the humidity and nearness to the equator will invigorate you! Pura Vida! Where are you going - close to Manuel Antonio by any chance?

check comments under your new brainstorm blog for making $$$$$$ and helping my office (remaking our staff - so they won't think micro minis are the thing for work - and so they will feel fab about themselves)!
