I was stationed in Milton, Florida the first two years I was in the Navy and there was a tornado then. It wasn't a very bad one though.
Next I was transfered to Kodiak, Alaska and that was the year of the big quake. It was pretty spooky.
We seldom get weather extremes here, thankfully. I sort of expect a big quake someday though, but I keep a stock of food and water and am well prepared for dealing with one.
Come to think of it, Pensacola was the first place I ever kissed a girl, I was twenty. Right after that my hair started turning gray. LOL
Lifetime hairstylist. Human behavior observer.
As a FB Hairstylist Educational Forum admin, I have been nudged by several to offer kind of a Dear Abby for hairstylists format.
My booming clientle is not because I am a hair genius. I deliver clean, good work.
But more than that, I know how to listen. Connect. I know when to entertain and when to empathize. It's innate.
And it can be learned. So, here we are. . .
Pose your questions, the clients you cannot please, your frustrations. Maybe I can offer gentle insight and guidance. . .
Or at least, to see the humor in it all!
